Peter Alex

Peter was born in Jessen (East Germany), and grew up in Lower Silesia near the German-Polish border. He attended college from 1987 to 1990 in Leipzig, where he engaged in grassroots organizing, and the demonstrations which led to the dismantling of the German wall.

Peter qualified as a veterinary surgeon at Leipzig Veterinary college in 1991, after having worked several months in Wales at a veterinary surgery as a student.

He completed basic studies in homeopathy with various teachers in Germany, from 1992 to 1994, and further studies with many renowned teachers since that time – among them Rajan Sankaran, Jan Scholten, Andre Saine, Anne Schadde and Alize Timmerman.

Peter's Dr. Med. Vet. thesis was in brain research. He also has a degree in English translation, and worked as a Yoga teacher from 1992 to1996. In 1994 he opened the first practice for classical homeopathy in the state of Saxony after the reunification of Germany.

Peter teaches homeopathy in schools throughout Germany, and occasionally teaches in medical colleges in Halle, Leipzig and Dresden.

In 2003, he co-founded the International Homeopathic College at Torgau, where he continues as a board member and teacher. The college is located in Samuel Hahnemann's former house at Torgau (where the 1st edition of the Organon, among other books, was written). The house is now a college and a museum.

Peter has conducted provings since 1999:
