Jorgos Kavouras

Dr. Jorgos Kavouras graduated from Germany's Friedrich Alexander University medical school in 1984. He completed his studies in Internal Medicine at Jura-Clinic in 1988 and set up practice in Pödeldorf (Germany).
He earned his PhD from Erlangen University, with a thesis on 'Escamilla-Lisser-Syndrome' (hypothyroidism in adults where external signs may be few or absent but serious problems can occur internally).
Dr. Kavouras began integrating homeopathy into his medical practice in 1990, and in 2001 he began intensive studies with Prof. George Vithoulkas.
Since 2005, he has been the Director of Vithoulkas Video-Teaching in London for English and international homeopaths; he also moderates the Vithoulkas Video Course every summer in Alonissos, Greece. He currently presents Clinical Seminars in Sweden, England, Germany and Canada.
Dr. Kavouras is especially interested in the challenge of treating acute diseases (viral, pandemic, etc.) with homeopathy, and the relationship between acute and chronic disease; in examining the connection between levels of health and infectious diseases; and in researching the increasing frequency and virulence of viral infections.
