Kent's Personal Corrections and Additions
In 1972, while working with Pierre Schmidt, Ahmed discovered Kent's personal corrections and additions to his own Kent Repertory.
Over a period of more than 20 years Ahmed has been working on revising and incorporating this work, giving the Homeopathic profession the wisdom that was added to Kent's original work.
With more than 100,000 additions and corrections, currently part of the Synthesis Repertory, Ahmed Currim has indeed gifted the community.
Dr. Currim's Journey Towards Homeopathy
On January 31, 1966 while relaxing before a final exam in mathematics at the University of Colorado Dr. Currim received, in the mail, Kent's Lectures in Homeopathic Philosophy.
From that day forward, the "infection" of Kent's powerful words grew so deep that, despite completing his PhD in Mathematics in 1970 and later becoming a college professor in mathematics, it would lead him to pursue a new career.
To embark on this move into a homeopathic practice, Dr. Currim, in September 1973, had the opportunity to enter the school of medicine at the University of Brussels where he completed his MD. He currently lives in Connecticut, one of a few states that allow him to hold both an MD and Homeopathic license.
Dr. Currim trained with some of the most well known Homeopathic physicians:
- Pierre Schmidt (Geneva)
- Guillaume Raoul Lincz (of Brussels)
- L'Abbe Chabord (France)
- Francisco Eizayaga (Argentina)
- Philipe Louis (Brussels)

- George Vithoulkas (Greece)
...as well as Andre Saine, Jaques Baur, Nancy Herrick and Roger Morrison, Ananda Zaren, and the Royal Belgian Homeopathic Society. He still holds, in high revere, his first mentor Dr. James Tyler Kent.
He has taught numerous seminars in Materia Medica, Homeopathic Philosophy, and Repertory since 1980 to many groups of medical practitioners including Physicians, Nurses, Naturopaths, etc.
