Overview

Dreams can provide some of the most evocative information to come out of homeopathic case taking, and yet it can be a challenge to use them effectively in clinical practice.

Perhaps one of the best ways to grasp a person's experience of disease is through dreams. Dreams and their symbols connect us with the collective human unconscious and provide insight into a patient's thoughts that he or she may not otherwise be able to express.

How do we understand a patient's dreams? Do we need professional Jungian or Freudian training? In a case with many dreams, which ones are particularly useful? Are the details of a dream most important, or the emotional content behind them? When analyzing a case, should we use a specific dream rubric, such as "dreams of butterflies," or should we use the larger rubric, "dreams of animals"?

Dr. Master is uniquely qualified to answer these questions, having authored a 474 page volume, Dictionary of Dreams in Homeopathy.

About Dr. Master

Farokh Master, MD has been practicing homeopathy for 35 years and supervises cases in six different hospitals and clinical facilities in the Mumbai area. Dr. Master has been recognized worldwide for his contributions to homeopathy, homeopathic education and the treatment of cancer. He is the author of more than 55 books, including the Dictionary of Dreams in Homeopathy. Dr. Master is currently pursuing his MD in Advanced Cancer.
